This is one of the exciting Indonesia destination called Kupang Regency and this is around the provincial capital of East Nusa Tenggara, the Kupang city in the west coast of Timor with a population of 522.944 approximately. Kupang District occupies an area of 53.958,28 Km²and consist of:
- Land occupied 7.178,28 Km²,
- Sea is about 46 780 Km²,
- beach length ± 492,4 Km.

Kupang district is bordered with:

1. On the North bordered with Sawu sea, and Ombai strait.
2. On the South bordered with Indian Ocean
3. On the East bordered with TTS and Ambeno District (Timor Leste)
4. On the West bordered with District of Rote Ndao and Sawu sea.


A VIEW TO INDONESIAN BORDER ISLAND
IN THE REGENCY OF KUPANG

Island of Ndana - Sabu
This island is one of the very outer part of Indonesia, specially in the regency of Kupang. Once in past some Australian (probably greenpeace) reside here for about four years, but their present detected by Indonesian Sea Force and put the Indonesian flag in the island. This island stay unoccupied and unliveable till nowadays, because on high tide on seventy five percent of the island covered by water, and surely its risky for living, even for soldier. There is no fresh available in the island. Eventhough the Indonesian Sea Force are frequently guard this island

ISLAND OF BATEK

Pulau Batek or Island of Batek located in the area of North Amfoang Sub Regency, once claimed by Timor Leste government as their teritory because its just nearby to Oecusi District in Timor Leste. The Batek island is often used by Indonesian Sea Force for exercising and later become a tourism object.
